K.T. Lawrence finished writing her first book at fourteen and began pursuing publication in her twenties. A Florida native who grew up on an island surrounded by nature, it made sense for her to major in biology at the University of Florida while minoring in English. Though she still works in bio as her day job, she's also passionate about making a second career for herself as an author.

Outside of work, K.T. balances her jock hobbies (hiking, climbing, and watching football/hockey) with her nerd hobbies (reading, gaming, and knowing way too much about bugs). She enjoys working on home improvement projects with her husband, poodle, cats, and miscellaneous reptiles at her side, though she wishes the animals would pitch in more. Her favorite protagonists to write are bi women like her. K.T. lives in a suburb of Atlanta.

Though fantasy is her first love, K.T. is primarily a writer of horror, and she never eschews a strong romantic subplot. She is represented by Chelsea Hensley of Mad Woman Literary Agency.
